| 19 FEB 2013 | NEWS FROM THE COURTHOUSE ANNEX The District Clerk’s Office is moving forward with its civil division paperless project. The belief is that the office should start slowly and work out any difficulties. Beginning March 1, 2013 the office will scan, perform quality control review and discard the following documents: instruction letters from counsel, original issuances, request for issuances, Notices of Appealable Orders (Civil and Family), New Suit Forms, Certificates for Seminar for Divorcing Parents, Notices for People Filing Family/Civil Suits Without a Lawyer, Certificates of Deposition, Certificates of Discovery, Motions to Withdraw as Counsel, Motions to Substitute as Counsel, Subpoena Applications, and Affidavits of Indigency. These instruments will be scanned and maintained in the iDocket system. All courts have access to these documents and there are 5 public access stations outside of the office. These systems are backed-up in two different ways with storage at two different facilities. All documents will continue to be noted on the docket sheet. This means that may appear on an index to a file. This will assist you in locating them on the event screen in the iDocket system.

| 14 AUG 2012 | NEWS FROM THE COURTHOUSE ANNEX For individuals summoned as jurors you may now re-schedule, claim an exemption or certify to a disqualification by using our on-line form. Click on the Juror button on the District Clerk’s webpage and then proceed to “Claim Exemptions/Disqualifications or Re-Schedule”. If you fill out the form completely and accurately it will save you a trip to the courthouse.
