McLennan County provides floodplain information for the unincorporated areas of the county. In order to determine if a certain tract of land is within the 100-year floodplain, you would need to provide the Engineer's Office (County Records Bldg, Ste: 130, P.O. Box 648, Waco, Texas 76703, fax (254) 757-5033) with a continuous drawing that shows the specific tract, the fronting road and the nearest road intersection. If you need a drawing of this nature, contact the Map Department, Records Building, Ste: 130, (254) 757-5067.
